Wu-Tang Clan was founded on Staten Island, New York, and their music has been deeply influenced by the borough's history and culture. The Shaolin Lighter pays homage to this iconic group by having the Staten Island Ferry boat front and center with New York City skyscrapers in the background and the signature "W" logo emblazoned on the front of the lighter. The Staten Island Ferry was an integral part of Wu Tang's experiences throughout their maturation and rise to fame, and this lighter is a tribute to that.
